With ticket demand exceptionally robust this year, we want to ensure that everyone who’d like to attend our event feels safe and comfortable to do so.
As such, we have made two important determinations:
1. Micromobility America will upsize to a larger, more outdoor campus with a fully outdoor ferry commute: the Richmond Craneway, in the SF Bay Area on Sept 23.
More space: Hosting the event at the historic Richmond Craneway offers 5x more space than our previous venue: 65,000 sqft, 53 ft ceilings, and windowed doors that will always be open, all situated on 25 acres right along the San Francisco Bay in Richmond, CA.
Outdoor gathering: Much of the event will be held outdoors on the external grounds of the Richmond Craneway to promote free airflow.
Commuting to Craneway: A public ferry with open-air seating runs directly from the Terminal Building in Downtown SF to the doorstep of the Richmond Craneway at regular intervals throughout the day (ferry schedule here). The journey across the SF Bay is easily one of the most scenic and memorable parts of the event. In addition, the venue is accessible via the Bay Trail on e-bike, scooter, etc and has parking available onsite.
Same agenda: Everything else about the event, including the date, speakers, exhibitors, and more, will remain the same.
2. Micromobility America will be a 100% vaccinated environment.
Vax and mask: Proof of vaccination (vaccine card, photo of vaccine card, or vaccine app) will be required of all attendees. As well, any indoor activities will be governed by the proper use of face coverings.
Together, these measures are aimed at enhancing your safety and comfort, while giving you the fullest, most dynamic event experience possible.
About Craneway:
You may remember the Richmond Craneway as the original HQ of Micromobility America (video tour here). Formerly a Ford factory, this 1931 industrial landmark was famous for producing the Model A during the Great Depression, and later, Jeeps and battleships during WWII. Today awe-inspiring panoramas of the San Francisco Bay, 53-ft ceilings pierced by giant skylights, and 65,000 sqft of free-flowing indoor/outdoor spaces combine to make visiting the Craneway a truly larger-than-life experience.
Travel & Directions:
Getting to the Richmond Craneway is easy. To start, we recommend staying in Downtown SF. A public ferry with open-air seating runs directly from the Terminal Building in Downtown SF to the doorstep of the Richmond Craneway at regular intervals throughout the day (ferry schedule here).
